The Central University of Kerala - Trivandrum Campus offers the B.Ed programme to students who should apply through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG). Applicants must have passed their Bachelor's degree in any field with not less than 50% aggregate from a university or college. For the candidates of SC/ST/OBC/PwD category, percentage criterion is reduced by 5%, so for the minimum eligibility, a candidate needs to have 45% aggregate.The admissions process of each of the programs is competitive, and based on the performance in CUET. The application is usually done in April-May, whereas the entrance examination is taken during June-July. Those who qualify are invited for counseling and document review. They also pointed out that the cost of pursuing B.Ed per course ranges from Rs 10,000/-to Rs 20,000/- annually.

For the OBC and EWS category, the cut off ranges in between 260-300 For the SC/ST category, candidate secures between 200-250.Despite that, it is mostly true that there might be slight changes in the cutoff each year due to the number of students that apply and the number of seats available, and the students' performance in CUET. For this reason, the Central University of Kerala – Trivandrum Campus is more affordable than many private universities. Another variation in fee structure for postgraduate courses like M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, MSW, etc. is between Rs 7,000/- pa to Rs 25,000/- pa as per course. For courses like M.Sc. in Genomic Science or Master of Public Health (MPH) the fees can go up to Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per annum._hostel fees which ranges for accommodation and mess charge are approximately Rs 15000-20000 per annum. Scholarship and fee remission for the needy are also provided to enhance affordable education to the learners by the university. In general, cost is affordable making it a preferred quality education service provider.

As far as standardized professional courses are concerned, M.P.H and M.Sc Genomic Science the highest packages can go up to Rs 6 to 8 LPA is the industry where BHM graduates are placed to work for reputed organizations in health departments, NGOs and some private firms of health care sectors.Nevertheless, for most postgraduate courses including M.A., M.Sc., and M.Com, the highest packages are 3- 5 LPA with most students preferring further studies or research. As of now, we are not able to provide any information regarding the BA admissions cutoff for Central University of Kerala for 2024. 2023 data says that: Qualification: 45% in Plus Two or aboveMethod of Admission – through CUET – Central Universities Entrance TestCUET Scores: 50%ile in one subject, 75% and above in another one Reservation: Sc, St, OBC, OBH etc. However, the important ones include BA International Relations, BA Economics, BA English. Differing cut offs are observed in the years due to competition and scores acquired in CUET. For more information, please check the notifications on the official website.
