C-DAC conducts two batches of asked PGD course (starting in February and August) of six months duration during the year. Admission to this program is done through a national level admission test named C-DAC's Common Admission Test (C-CAT).

C-DAC conducts two batches of asked PGD course (starting in February and August) of six months duration during the year. Admission to this program is done through a national level admission test named C-DAC's Common Admission Test (C-CAT).
Eligibility criteria :
1. Graduate in Engineering (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT /Computer Science /Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation. OR MSc/ MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics. OR
2. Mathematics in 10+2 (exempted for candidates with Diploma + Engineering) OR Graduate in any discipline of Engineering OR Post Graduate Degree in Physics / Mathematics / Statistics OR MCA, MCM OR Post Graduate Degree in Management with graduation in IT / Computer Science/Applications.
3. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
The course has been a trend-setting course due to its unique curriculum and the opportunities that it generates; hence it gives the edge over above for the students and gives a international edge. The C-DAC have a centralized placement program where the respective centers actively coordinate the task of organizing the campus interviews for all the students.
So from above you are eligible for this course only because other PGD courses required Graduation in CS/ IT/ Electronics/ Telecommunication etc. Further course is very useful for and give you value addition for employment point of view.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the courses available at C-DAC. The admission to their courses based on entrance examination for all PG Diploma courses. So, you have to appear for C-DAC's computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT). Every year, C-CAT is usually conducted in June (for August admissions) and December (for February admissions).
