One notable alumnus of the Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) is Rajesh Kumar Kaushal, who is the Special Director General of the Central Public Works Department in the Government of India.  The founder principal of the CCA was AR Prabhawalkar, who was a versatile comrade of Le Corbusier. Prabhawalkar was known for his professionalism, integrity, and expertise. He was later appointed as the Adviser for Urban Development to the first Prime Minister of Mauritius, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam.
