The basic criteria for applying at Chetana's Institute of Management and Research for PG courses (i.e. PGDM-MARKETING, PGDM-GENERAL, PGDM-RETAIL) is that you need to score minimum 50% and above in your graduation. Your entrance exam score which you have appeared in i.e. MAT, MH-CET, CAT, CMAT etc. along with the scores of next stage conducted by the institute which will consist of GD/PI will be considered for selection of the candidates. The candidates with best total scores in these, will be selected. Work experience of more than 6 months is considered as valid work experience (both institute entrance process as well as in the industry). Having a work experience will definitely give you an edge over others in selection process.

Dear Amit,
PGDM programme is offered by the institutes that are recognised by AICTE while
MMS is degree programme offered by university through colleges.
Which one to go for depends upon the reputation of the institute and your
personal choice (Location, Fee etc.). In the industry more or less both holds the
same value if the institute is providing the course is same. In short choose and
go by the reputation of the institute and not the name of the degree.
Course curriculum of both course are different. For MMS course curriculum is
decided by the University and for PGDM, college have authority to design course
curriculum under the guidelines given by AICTE. PGDM courses are more in sync
with current trends in business world.
All the Best.
