In general, for the undergraduates programme such B.A, B.Sc, B.Ed or the related programs admission requirements requires the candidate to have a certain qualification equivalent from a recognised board. For post graduate programs, probationary scores in previous civil and academic work and sometimes a written test and interview may be necessary. Another feature which can influence the competition level is the number of applications submitted during a year. Since some of the mentioned cutoffs or entrance exams might actually differ from year to year, it is advisable to check the current instructions of a particular university.

For the course like B.Ed., M.ED. placements are in schools, colleges or NGO undertaking social service for children. The university doesn't produce very detailed figures about job opportunities for the subjects taught outside their core concentrations. Comparing to other countries, the average salary is not very high due to most of the listed jobs fall under teaching positions. However, internships and most project works form a significant component of the academic curriculum to enable learners acquire practical experience. Children's University offers course at PG and doctoral levels. Aspirants need to pass a minimum of graduation to apply for PG courses whereas PG degree is required for PhD programmes. Hence, only qualifying Class 12 will not get admission in the university. CRU has not specified the minimum eligibility criteria. However, 60% is a decent score and aspirants with this score in graduation or PG degree can get admission provided they also fulfil the selection requirements.
