The university is mostly for the kids who couldnt score that well in JEE and dont get their dream college or their dream branch in a specific college of their choice. So youll find more than a thousand students with relatively similar score in JEE. According to me the reputation isnt that good. :)
Curriculum: They level of education is really good! Coming from a govt. college I can surely say that the teachers are strict, labs are better and theyll teach you pretty well. On the other hand in my college(which is highly reputed), the education level is not that good.( trust me on this ).
Environment and exposure: well this matters the most. The environment isnt that good in Chitkara. Most of the students are non-serious about education and yes youll definitely find some good brains but mostly they dont really put that much effort in studying. By no means Im blaming kids but thats what I know about Chitkara. Generally youll not find kids discussing about subjects unlike in IITs.
Fee: pretty expensive Ill say. But Its okay.
Travel: If you are not taking the hostel, youll travel a lot everyday. Its in middle of no where.
Placements: Dont go on their brochure for placements. You should know that almost 800 students pursue CS every year there and not all of them are placed. Its a myth! If you outshine others, Youll get placed no matter which college.
So yeah, Its not a bad college if you are very serious about studying or youll just end up wasting your 4 years.
In a nutshell what matters is how much are you willing to learn. College will only give you a platform to perform :)

The main measures for admission to Punjab University are your grades. You should perform well on your group 12 board test, and rivalry is savage. You ought to look for a few different organizations too, as I would like to think. One of the top confidential colleges in Chandigarh University. As per the QS World Ranking 2023, Chandigarh University is the third-the most youthful college on the planet and had the best introduction. Besides, there is an enormous assortment of offices presented by the college. Moreover, the grounds are exquisite and have major areas of strength for a set of experiences. I trust that was helpful.

5. Placement oriented guidance.
6. Easy reach to heigher authority of university.
7. No ragging. I never seen a single ragging case in my first year, seniors are so much supportive.
8. Students from all over the India even foreign country too.
Here are the few cons not bad but need improvement
1. Open playground for cricket and football is not in very good condition as most of the time it is equipped for some events (New ground is almost constructed so no longer any issue with that).
2.Sometime focus too much on assignments and lab file work instead of practical knowledge. Although written work is also important but it can be improved.
Apart from this no other issue with the university, CU is really good and a place where you want to spend few years of life and remember those years as best years of your life.
And university is approved by UGC , AICTE and other necessary councils.
Thanks and I hope it may help

Hi,If you want to know about the overall college infrastructure, well, it is really world class. It may seem a new and small college, but it makes use of a lot of advanced stuff here. We have fully air-conditioned classrooms, language lab, fully equipped library and media center and lot more. If you are expecting answers for Entrepreneurship and Healthcare Department. I know that they have a working lab, a digital table, and some advanced machinery for learning. That's all I can say, it's best, if you can come visit our college and see for yourself before you decide on anything.
