It is the best college, and I suggest that students can surely opt for our college.

Placements: Placements in our course are less because our course is chemistry. Mostly, students from our course pursue postgraduation courses after this undergraduate course. So, it is the reason to have less placements. However, our course is perfect.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility and infrastructure are pretty much good. Lab facilities and library are excellent. Especially the library is top class with lacs of books, and there is a canteen facility. Hospital facilities are also available nearby, and our college is the best for sports and awarded many times.

Faculty: Our college has the best faculty members, and many of them are qualified with their doctoral degree. Currently, they are doing research, along with teaching. They are very much supportive and very helpful with academics and non-academics. The course is interesting, and the faculty members make it more interesting.

Other: I opted for this course because it is very much interesting, and this course is about chemicals. Students of our batch are excellent and very studios along with extracurricular activities also. But the syllabus needs some alterations.

Our college is well known for its infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Many companies such as Federal Bank, Infosys, Deloitte, etc., visit our campus for placements. More students studying especially in science stream course in our college have to attend and qualify the written test and then attend the interview. Apart from that, they also get placed in those institutions.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is well organised and supportive for the academics. The library is very elaborate with a vast collection of books on enormous topics. Our college library holds a great group of literature, reference and academic books and facilitates audiobook access. There is good internet facility, and computers are available to students for free of cost. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with good food and accommodation facilities. Our college has been awarded many times with the best performance award in sports. Sports activities are given good importance here, and also the infrastructure for sports like synthetic sports court, etc., support it.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very supportive in our learning processes as well as in co-curricular activities. Faculty members of the chemistry department are well qualified and efficient with an excellent profile. Most of them have completed their education from leading institutes like IITs, etc. They have many years of teaching experience. The course curriculum needs to be more aligned towards the current world. The course curriculum of the university is not updated according to the scientific world.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is the best as an initiative for the field of chemistry. I wish that our course curriculum needs to be modified in many aspects to match with a syllabus which is enough to evolve scientific temper and interest in students. Our college gives excellent support to arts fest and events, and many prizes are bagged by our college students every year in such cultural events. Our campus offers a great vibe and ambience with lush green environment and elegant garden beauty. Our campus provides students with a soothing feeling by being situated at an intimate space. Various scholarships are available for students, and also under the Calicut University.

It is one of the best colleges in Kerala.

Placements: Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in B.Sc in chemistry. I am a third-year student. As per the information which I have heard from our seniors, our college placement cell is really good. Around 70% of the students got placed, and our college conducts various training programmes. Even during this COVID-19 pandemic, our college has conducted a one-week online training programme, which was really effective. Deloitte, Infosys and various other companies hired students. Unfortunately, many chemistry students did not get placed.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure and Wi-Fi facility. Among all the departments, the chemistry department is the topmost department both in academics as well as in non-academics. There are really good classrooms, library and labs. Even there is a good and hygienic canteen, and our college also assures all the medical facilities for students.

Faculty: All the teachers here are well qualified, and most of them hold a PhD. Their teaching quality is excellent, and they are always available to students. Students can approach them at any time. Our course curriculum is industry-related, but we didn't get any exposure to any of the industries, which may be due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Other: I opted for B.Sc in chemistry because I like to study chemistry, and also we can witness chemistry in our daily life. The only thing which I wish to improve in our course is our college should provide students with more exposure to industry and other job opportunities related to our course. Many events are organised in our college, and there are also programmes like NSS, NCC and Thavanish where students can actively participate and exhibit their talents. Even these are the platforms where students realise their hidden talents.
