{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is B.E./B.Tech at City Engineering College (CEC, Bangalore) worth the investment? Based on the reviews and feedback from current and former students, here's a summary of the pros and cons:Pros:* Good infrastructure: The college has well-maintained buildings, libraries, and laboratories.* Knowledgeable faculty: Many teachers are well-educated and knowledgeable in their respective fields.* Supportive professors: Faculty members are generally helpful and willing to clarify doubts.* Decent placements: While some courses have poor placements, others have seen students secure jobs in reputed companies like IBM, Bosch, Samsung, and more.* Internship opportunities: Around 98% of students have secured internships, mostly with major companies like Wipro and Infosys.Cons:* Placement rates vary: While some courses have relatively good placement records, others struggle to find suitable employment for graduates.* Limited hostels: Unfortunately, the college does not offer hostel facilities for students.* Poor maintenance: Some students mentioned that the college could improve its upkeep, particularly in areas like cleanliness and canteen services.* Curriculum issues: A few students felt that the course curriculum was not aligned with industry standards, making it challenging to find employment after graduating.Overall, whether B.E./B.Tech at City Engineering College (CEC, Bangalore) is worth the investment depends on individual preferences and priorities.
