B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022

This college is not good for your higher education.
Placements: Our seniors have backlogs, and none of the students gets placements from Cochin College of Engineering. The pass percentage in the previous year was just 11%. Salary packages are not offered in our college, so we have to work hard to get placed.
Infrastructure: I don't have any idea about the college hostel. But the campus is just like a tuition centre as only theory classes are conducted. The lab doesn't work properly, and there are old machines.
Faculty: Teachers here don't have any experience on how to handle students. Every semester, old teachers are leaving, and new teachers are joining. New teachers join here without experience. So they don't have any idea about the college and the students. However, some teachers teach well, but they don't get their salaries. So they start teaching a subject and stop teaching at half of the subject. None of the students can get the proper education from our college. Our college offering high education facilities with low fees, but none of the students gets the proper education according to their fees. One class has 10 students, and 10 students have 10 different fee structures. Teachers don't get their salaries as they are pending from past 6months.

B.Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2019
1.8

The college is not good at providing infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Less than 10% of the students in our course got placed. They offer average salary packages.
Infrastructure: In our department, labs, classrooms, and a library are provided to the students. The quality food is available in the mess. In addition to shared kitchen facilities, washing machines and clothes dryers are often provided with an addition of hot water and cold water facilities.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very bad, and it is not understandable for students. They are not qualified. Their voice is not clear, and the teaching method is also not understandable. The college teachers do not help in the exam or anything.
Other: The course is better than any other course. Many events, fest, and extracurricular activities are conducted in the college.

B.Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2020
3.4
4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The college provides one of the better platforms if you are focusing on mechatronics engineering.
Placements: There is a placement cell available in the college. A few students were placed through campus placements last year. Most of them were offered a salary of Rs. 40,000-50,000 per month depending on their branches. The first batch of KTU will complete their course this year. The first batch of mechatronics will also get passed out this year. More details about placements will be known after this year.
Infrastructure: The college has spread over a lot of acres, but we have only a few buildings here. There are only 5 blocks, and 2 of them are for only labs, and the two blocks are available to conduct classes. One of the buildings is allocated for the canteen. The off-road track has been set on the campus itself for one of the events conducted during the previous technical fest.
Faculty: Exams are conducted on time by the college. The quality of teaching is okay. Most of the faculty members complete the course on time, and most of the classes are conducted according to the university schedule. Most interesting things happen during the project. Teachers put their full efforts for helping the students with their projects.
Other: The fest is conducted in the college where students perform outstandingly. Students are totally free to engage in extracurricular activities.
