My college life has been well-satisfying, and I am pleased with both the degree and the faculty.

Placements: I got admission in the July '23 batch, and there are more than 100 students in my class. I chose a finance specialization. I completed my first year, and after that, we have to do a project in the third semester. Following this, we get placements from top companies like Amazon and Wipro.

Hostel facilities are awesome.

Placements: It depends on which course he or she takes admission in; in some UG courses, students become eligible for campus placement from the last semester of their respective courses with companies like Infosys, Bosco, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and many more. 60% to 70% of students get placements, as mentioned before, and are interested in becoming entrepreneurs.

Our college is better than what one would expect from a government university.

Placements: The placement cell is there, and they are appropriately working for the wellness of the students and their careers. The highest salary package offered is around 15 LPA this year. Finance and marketing are hotcakes for recruiters. It is up to the students to study well and imbibe the required skills for appropriate placement opportunities. Satisfactory salary packages are offered.

Satisfied with the college, and its good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I'm in the first year of my MBA. I heard from my seniors that we don't have any placements. The percentage of students placed in our course is 0. I don't know about packages. HDFC Bank and other banks come for recruiting. I don't know about internships, but we only have to search for internships in our final year. Banking executives, managers, etc., are the top roles offered.

I am very happy with the facilities provided by Andhra University.

Placements: Until now, almost 75% of the students got placed in the companies related to their respective specialisation with good profiles. The highest salary package offered was 5.8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. As far as the placements for our seniors are concerned, only a few students were placed, and it is due to some internal communication issue between the placement coordinators. However, the placements for the 2019 batch have been good.

The college has a good reputation, but the standards are not that good.

Placements: Many placement activities are organised here, but the salary packages offered are low. The salary packages are offered based on the capability of the candidates. Although this is a government university, the college lags behind technologically. The companies like Cult Fit visited the campus this year, and they hired only one student.

Review of Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Placement opportunities are very less. Few companies visit the campus for placements, but the intake was too low. As Andhra University is the best in Andhra Pradesh, everyone expects more from this, but the reality is far from the expectations.

The placements provided are poor.

Placements: Very few students got placed on campus. There is no proper planning and execution of activities which develop the competitive skills of students. The administration pays less attention to the placements. There is no support for the students to enhance their skills. People expect more from the university, but it doesn't match the expectations.

Excellent faculty with great knowledge. The only problem is less number of professors.

Placements: Placements in our department were good, i.e., almost 30%-40% of on-campus placements were provided the last year. Many of our seniors were placed in many important positions of the public sector and the private sector. One of our seniors is working in GSK Rajahmundry as HR with a salary package of 4 LPA.

I am satisfied with the facilities and infrastructure of the university.

Placements: The placement history is good in the university. Every year, atleast 60% of the students are being placed in the various reputed organisations. The salary package is good. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and much more on the list. Almost all the students get an internship every year in many good organisations. Many banks provide internship to the students of the university.

Experienced faculty, good scenery, bad hostels, worse placements.

Placements: Placements are very low when compared to the other colleges. By the end of the 2nd semester, you have to do an internship. The college brings you very less internship offers i.e. around 30 in 320 students and stipend is also very low at around 5,000 to 7,000 per month.

Everything is good. Coming to the canteen and the hostel, you have to think.

Placements: In my college, my senior got placements in Reliance Fresh retail. Maximum students got into the retail industry. Coming to the salary package, 12 LPA was the average based on the company. Some companies paid 8 LPA packages. In my college, many companies visited for the campus drive. Students got a very good role like marketing and store management etc.
