Faculty in the College of Engineering and Rural Technology, Meerut is said to be experienced and pretty good, as they care about teaching. Many professors have degrees in engineering and technology, with a lot of experience in academic and industrial arenas. The students find them approachable, often citing examples of the faculty being very supportive, willing to give advice, both academically and personally. But certain students have suggested that, although the faculty is qualified, the teaching methods lack practical exposure and updated content relevant to the industry. In general, the faculty appears competent, with a strong basis in providing solid theoretical grounding.
