COEP is perhaps one of the best engineering colleges from the government site in the state of Maharashtra, accepts students for normal first year via MHT CET and also accepts students for lateral admissions after Diploma directly into the second year. You will need to visit the webpage of the Directorate of technical education of the Maharashtra government for a link through which you have to register yourself for lateral admission. There is a good chance that you would get COEP. But it also depends on which branch are you interested to go in. So, if you don't get COEP in the very first round, wait for subsequent rounds. You might get your desired branch in one of these rounds.
