Review of College of Engineering, Thalassery.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are very good. Most of the students get placed and few of them don't get placed but will be ready to attend interviews in the future. Staff members and placement officers always encourage students to be ready for interviews and accept any outcome. The salary package offered is 3 LPA to 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good with many good centers like a library, computer center, playground, parking space, canteen, and many more. Hostel facilities are very good. They serve very good food. The hostel building is very old and the facilities are less.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and understanding. They take care of students but some of them are not good. The course curriculum is based on the guidelines of KTU as our college is affiliated with it. Exams are held on time and the results are published within a time limit. Evaluation of exams is not good but an average of 50% of students pass every year.

Good campus life, lot of events but not so good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement is average but best in the Malabar region of Kerala according to the campus placement record of Infosys this year. 21 students got placed in Infosys this year. 9 students were placed in Quest global. 8 student placed in TCS and many are waiting for next opportunity/result. The college has a well working placement and CGPA cell.

Infrastructure: The college is provided by high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus with can be used by the students, faculty members and other staffs. College has 6 departments with provide B.Tech and 2 of them are NAAC accredited, 2 M.Tech department. The B.Tech programs offered are 1. Computer Science and Engineering 2. Information Technology 3. Electronics and Communication Engineering (NAAC accredited) 4. Electrical and Electronics Engineering 5. Mechanical Engineering (NAAC accredited) 6. Civil Engineering The college offers hostel facility for female only, some private hostels are available nearby for boys. The canteen food quality is good. The college offers the availability of a doctor on specified days. The college supports sports and arts in full form.

Faculty: The college has a good teaching atmosphere with good quality faculty members, some of the faculty members have Ph.D. and some are doing research. Faculty members are knowledgeable and free to help at any time. The college follows the course curriculum as per A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Kerala (KTU). .

Other: I choose this college because it is near to my locality. The college offers a good startup infrastructure and the IEDC and campus communities works well here. The college conducts a lot of events such as sports, tournaments, tech and art fears etc.

This college is like a heaven as it consists of good infrastructure, staff, and teachers.

Placements: Many companies Like VDN Technologies, Travancore Analytics, etc., conduct placement drives in our college. We also have many training programmes conducted by our staff members and teachers for us to sharpen our knowledge and crack the placement drives easily. There are also many orientation programmes to make students confident. So, our college provides proper training for B.Tech students to get placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is excellent. The college has departmental labs and separate physics and chemistry labs. Internet access is provided through the Wi-Fi, and there is also a central library. There are many computers available for web access and digital library which is useful for accessing any information online.

Faculty: The teachers perform well to provide proper education to students. They cover each section of the syllabus in the given time and conduct some tests to enrich the knowledge of students in the subjects they taught. Many language classes and tutorial hours are also provided.

It is the best college with nice college life and highly trained teachers.

Placements: Final-year students are eligible for campus placements. But every year, students can apply for foreign internships. Every year companies like Wipro, EY, etc., visit here for recruitment. Some companies don't care even if students have about 1 or 2 backlogs, but some companies select only students who have high CGPA. About 20 or 25 students get placements from each branch while some others choose higher studies and government jobs. Wipro, TCS and Infosys offer software developer roles in many languages.

Infrastructure: There are five well-equipped, spacious and air-conditioned computer laboratories with 200 network computers and support equipment. There is Wi-Fi, highly occupied labs, spacious classrooms and a library with lots of curriculum-based books. The hostel is moderately affordable, and the food served is moderately good. There is a clean and tidy canteen.

Faculty: This college got a distinction in discipline, quality teaching and excellence of students. The courses offered here are computer science and engineering, etc., with the best and highly qualified faculty members. They make students ready for the job after the course.
