    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Corporate Institute of Science and Technology?

After analyzing the reviews from students and alumni, here's what emerges:

    Placements and Internships:
    * Approximately 10-15% of students get placed annually, with the highest package offered being INR18 LPA and the average package ranging from INR3-INR14 LPA.
    * Companies visiting the campus include Wipro, HCL, TCS, and others, offering roles like software developers, managers, and more.
    * Internship scores range from 40-70%, with around 90% of students securing internships.

    Teaching and Faculty:
    * Some faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable, but others may not be up-to-date with recent technological developments.
    * Teaching quality varies, and some professors may not be able to answer questions effectively.

    Infrastructure and Facilities:
    * The college has good infrastructure, including well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, and libraries.
    * However, Wi-Fi connectivity is not always reliable, and the quality of canteen food varies.

    Student Life and Campus Culture:
    * Extracurricular activities are limited, and sports facilities are somewhat lacking.
    * Hostel facilities are decent, but food quality can be hit-or-miss.

    Career Prospects:
    * Civil Engineering graduates reported higher success rates in finding employment, while Computer Science students faced more challenges.

Based on these findings, it appears that while Corporate Institute of Science and Technology has its strengths, such as a good infrastructure and decent placements, it falls short in certain areas like teaching quality, internship opportunities, and campus culture. Ultimately, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing a degree here depends on individual priorities and expectations.

Placements: Approximately 20% of students secure placements every year. The highest package offered for freshers' roles is approximately 18 LPA, while the average salary stands at around 3 LPA. Notable recruiting companies include Wipro, HCL, TCS, and others. However, the quality of internships at our college is not particularly impressive. It is essential for students to proactively seek and secure internships on their own.
Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent facilities and infrastructure. The quality of food and departmental resources available at such affordable fees is beyond imagination. Moreover, the hostel facilities are also top-notch, providing all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable hostel life.
Faculty: When it comes to discussing the teachers, there is no room for regret. The college boasts an exceptional quality of educators. At times, you may even feel as though you are back in school, as they provide nurturing care akin to that of a parent. The semesters can be challenging due to the affiliation with RGPV.
Other: I just want computer Science that's why I choose this college.

    Corporate group of institutions.
Placements: Regarding the placement, it is worth mentioning that in the 2023 batch, only 10 students were successfully placed out of a total of 120 students. Unfortunately, the highest package offered remains unknown at this time. However, on average, one can expect to receive around 3 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum). It is important to note that there is no available information regarding internships at our college. The placement rate stands at approximately 10-15% of students each year, with the top role being that of a web developer.
Infrastructure: Our college takes pride in its outstanding facilities, which create an ideal environment for students to succeed. The college's numerous groups and organizations are committed to assisting you in achieving your goals. Furthermore, if you have an interest outside of the curriculum, our college actively encourages and supports your exploration. Although the cafeteria may meet your needs, it is the exceptional quality of the food in the hostel that will truly impress you. Moreover, our college is proud of its dedicated and supportive staff, who are always available to provide assistance.
Faculty: The faculty at this institution is exceptional, and the work-life balance is excellent. The curriculum, is highly commendable, with all classes being conducted efficiently. It is indeed a gratifying experience to receive education here. Undoubtedly, the curriculum is relevant and adequately prepares students for off-campus placements.
Other: I prioritize self-discovery over financial gains and chose college for its esteemed reputation.

The positive point for the college is its infrastructure.
Placements: 60 percent students get placed. The lowest package offered in this college is 1.8 LPA and the highest is 8.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, HCL Technologies, Wipro, Syntel, etc. The internship score is 70%. You get placed as a manager, software engineer, etc. in companies. Placement is not very good for weak students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good as compared to other colleges. There is no Wi-Fi in the college. Wi-Fi facilities are only available in labs and only for faculty members and staff. Hostel provides us good facilities. Mess food is also not that bad, it's manageable but sports facilities are very poor.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well designed and we went for industrial visits about 2-3 times in our course of 1 year. For placements, I will say there is nothing because 4-5 non-core companies visit here and they pay an average of 10000 per month which is not that great.
Other: I decided to become a software developer because it offers great opportunities for a bright future. In freshers party, we have enjoyed a lot, the college organizes tech fest in every 1-2 months of period. Every year, they fire old faculty to hire new faculty members (less experienced). Many times the college cancels organised programs.

My personal experience is that if you do engineering try to take admission in government.
Placements: The information about our batch in B.Tech mechanical engineering, there are 80 students in one class. The highest package in computer Science engineering is 8 LPA and the lowest package is up to 4 LPA. The student takes an internship out from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not bad, it is well. The Wi-Fi facilities are available and the classroom is smart. In the hostel some facilities are good but not all facilities are good. Medical facilities are not available and the quality of food is also not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they give the best advice and they also get motivate us that how to achieve the best goals in our life. The student does a hard study for the semester exam in the college. Students have a very good percentage in semester exams and my personal experience says it only depends on you.
Other: I would like to choose mechanical engineering because of my interest in bikes and cars etc., I want to understand everything in the engine of the bike like a small part of the bike that's why I chose mechanical engineering. The campus crowd is a little.
