Cotton University shows a holistic development in educational, cultural, and sports.

Placements: There was no job placement program. But after graduation, many people get selected in India's top central universities like BHU, DU, JNU, etc. Most of the students also qualified for NET which is also one of the toughest exams. So there is a need to look after this matter.

Infrastructure: I'm residing in the university hostel. There are three girls hostels, out of which two are for undergraduates and high secondary students while one is for post-graduate students. Two-seater and three-seater rooms are good, but many face problems in five-seater because it is less spacious.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. In the zoology department, 10-12 professors are present, and all are Ph.D. holders. They try their level best to make the student understand their subjects in an easy way and encourage them to do best by sharing their own success stories.

Other: As it is not a closed campus university so it is vast and distributed all over the Pan Bazar and Dhigoliphukri area. The strength of girls is comparatively more than boys. Separate practical labs for high secondary students, undergraduate, and post-graduate students are present. The availability of equipment in labs is much needed. National level debate competition is conducted every year and the winner is awarded certificates and cash prizes.

Good facility and exposure in the extracurricular activities. Good faculties.

Placements: Placement of cotton is quite good. Some students got placement in very good companies as well as foreign universities. So all in all placement is above average. I cannot exactly say about the salary but it is in the range of 30k-90k per month or above.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the department is very good. You will be provided good instruments in the laboratory. Classroom interaction between student and teacher is very good. In the library u will get most of the books that are in the syllabus prescribed and there are 2 reading rooms in the library.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very sweet. They always wanted to help students in every possible way that they can. All the faculty members are highly qualified and they have very vast knowledge about the subject that they taught. Teaching quality are quite good. The course curriculum is relevant and updated to the latest discovery and invention.

Other: I wanted to explore myself in this field. So I chose this course over the other because, in this course, the best thing is you can learn so many things in this subject how things work really in the universe. I think in every two-three years the course should be updated according to the recent UGC rules. There is always an opportunity of every student to explore in every possible way that they can.

Well-developed cotton with its integrity for 124 years.

Placements: The placement opportunities are well developed in the university; the average package is around 6 lakhs per annum. Top companies in oil, and many private companies also come for the same. Internship opportunities are also there for the same, with around 25 students placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is well developed; on the other hand, many buildings are being made for the courses, and the canteen facilities are also beneficial for the students. The university also focuses on sports and games like health development.

Faculty: The exams are taken every 6 months, with the midterm being held for better knowing of the students. Teachers are well qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees who teach the students; however, the level of difficulty of the exams increases eventually.

Life in Cotton College. It is the pride of Assam.

Placements: There is a lot of opportunities available, especially after B.Sc. A good student always gets jobs in oil firms, bank firms, etc. Many brilliant students also opted for masters in different universities. If you have a good concept, then you will get amazing placement from this college which will make anyone's life beautiful.

Infrastructure: It is the best government college of Assam with a very good infrastructure. The quality of the classroom is very good. The college offers a very good environment to study. Library, e-library, and practical labs are also up to date. So overall a very good college and its infrastructure is also good.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very smart, good, and friendly. They are always ready for any help. Any student can ask any query at any time. The course curriculum is also very good. The course also helps in exams like APSC, UPSC, etc.

Other: Many events like Swarajwati pooja, freshman social, farewell, Biswakarma pooja, etc., are celebrated in this institute. Even many workshops are conducted.

Cotton University is very good with professors that are helpful.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities are very good every year we get many research scholars and Ph.D. aspirants every year many new students get selected as associate professors in some renowned colleges of India with the good package of the salary of about 15 16 Lacs.

Infrastructure: The campus is spread over hectares of land, all departments are being located at different places. Classrooms are good, libraries with available books that are preferred by students, canteen serves good food at low price, sports, labs are very good.

Faculty: All the professors are well qualified with Ph.D. degree and all the associate professors are M.Sc. qualified, overall teachers are very friendly and kind. The courses are very good with good syllabus. Syllabus is very good and helpful. Faculty is good.

Other: Cotton University is very good with good professors that are so helpful. The campus is spread over hectares of land. All departments being located at different places. Students get scholarships.
