Placements: I personally don't find the placement cell of the university of much use. Though it is a good state university but not many students get placed across different courses. The average package offered to undergraduate student was INR 5.4 LPA in 2022. The placement performance of the university fails to compliment the reputation of the university.
Placements: About 2% of students were placed in my course out of the enrolled students at the university. The highest package was around 12 LPA, the average was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Around 73% of students got internships in my course during the past few years.
Placements: Our college students also support and encourage internships with good opportunities and a good stipend. However, those who want to get hired need to work more on their skills to secure job placements, as there is no placement department on campus. The college is good overall.
Placements: The placement opportunities are well developed in the university; the average package is around 6 lakhs per annum. Top companies in oil, and many private companies also come for the same. Internship opportunities are also there for the same, with around 25 students placed.
Placements: We do get internships in certain Universities and companies through our resumes and we also have a placements cell which provides various internships and placement opportunities, but direct placements are generally not available after a Bachelor course, we have to do our Masters for good opportunities.
Placements: 1 percent students got placed. The highest package was about 12 LPA, and the lowest was about 5 to 6 LPA. Oil Limited is the top recruiting body, but there are not many private companies. 2% of students got internships in companies. Geologists, assistant professors, etc. are the top roles offered.
Placements: There were 32 students who applied for the course. The highest package was around 6.5 lacs, the average was 3.5 lacs and the lowest was 2 lacs. Around 20 percent of students got internships, as others were not interested. Eoot Technologies and Quest Innovation are some of the IT companies.
Placements: You shouldn't expect to get placements, especially on-campus placements from Cotton University. Although it's not bad for your bachelor's, you should try to do your master's somewhere else. The placement cell has been quite active recently and has been improving, so there might be a better scope of placements in the near future. However, there are much better colleges where you can do your Masters and expect to get good placements with good packages.
Placements: I think our university has a low placement rate. Since it's a degree college, not everyone goes for job placements; instead, they go for higher studies. Those who are willing for placements have to work more on their skills to get a job placement. But there are internships and projects provided by the university.
Placements: I have enrolled in the batch B.Sc. in Mathematics (hons) at Cotton University. In my course, there will be no such great placements seen till now, just like average 2.5 Lacs per annum. And the faculty members are average-level at Cotton University. It is one of the oldest in Assam.
Placements: More or less, both internships and placements are offered by the college. The placement cell tries to bring in companies like Amazon, TCS, and Wipro. The average package that was offered was 3.5 lakh rupees per year. Along with that for internships, various companies come.
Placements: Companies like Tech Variable and Zaloni came to recruit students in our department of CSIT. The highest package was around 4LPA. Our course also provided internships for us. Some of our students including me got into CFSL (Central Forensic Science Laboratory) and others got into NEIST, Jorhat for our internships.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students got placed in our course. The salary packages depended on students' skills and performance. Almost 60% of students got internships from our college. Many research field job roles were offered to students.
Placements: The placement records are not very satisfactory, but some of our alumni got placements in ISRO, Dhaba Atomic Research Centre, and many MNCs. Most of our seniors got placements in oil companies and various chemical fields. At the end of the course, almost 80% of students get internships in various local and international companies. The top role offered in our course is scientist at many foreign research projects and Dhaba Atomic Research Centre.
Placements: The placement rate is very low, but there is a high rate of placements from students doing master's. Many of our seniors have got placements in top companies like Oil India Limited as chemists. Some of the alumni have even got placements in ISRO, Dhaba Atomic Research Centre, and also many foreign companies for research purposes.
Placements: About 85% of students are placed in our course. There are no salary packages till now, but authorities are working on it. About 20-30% of students got internships but not from companies, instead doing in different universities. There is no role offered in our course for students.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is newly active and so far it has offered amazing offers to some meritorious students. They have always provided financial and good educational support to economically weak students. Internships are provided in the department itself to the interested students.
Placements: There are no placements from this university. There is no placements cell also. This is the biggest disadvantage of studying at cotton university. No companies come to the college, and not even local companies visit for placements. They can introduce placements cell for a better future for students.
Placements: There is no placement cell in the college, and the department offers no such facilities. If you want any job, it is up to you to apply. Apart from placements, there is no internship scheme or foreign institution exchange scheme. I did my internship on my own by approaching various teachers.
