Daita Madhusudana Sastry Sri Venkateswara Hindu College of Engineering is quite a good college. Its courses in engineering are offered under a vast range of categories, and the training also is conducted with a dominant focus on practical education alongside industry readiness. The staff is excellent, and so is the learning culture. However, there are problems of placement and quality infrastructure affecting a few students. Although this college provides a lot of extracurricular activities and, of course, an inspiring environment, it would not be equal to some of the good engineering colleges, which hold prime ranks. Depending upon his requirements and further needs for their career, every student is supposed to assess this place.

Admission to B.E./B.Tech programs is primarily through AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test). The college may also accept students through management quotas based on their 12th-grade performance.
