Even though private hostels and PG accommodations nearby the campus provide food facilities. It is common with these hostels to report that they always offer clean and cheap meals and have standard food services like breakfast, lunch or dinner. The quality of food is usually described as being average, whereas the cost range from Rs 2000 to Rs. 4000 per month for a meal plan depending on the housing. Yes, DMCE accepts admissions for the 2024-25academic session for students in different engineering courses. Their under graduate and post graduate courses include Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech) for which it accepts MHT CET and also JEE Main. Hence the college dispenses with the recommendations of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. Every candidate is required to fulfill certain procedures to make him/her eligible and the admission process works through the CAP done by DTE. The specific information regarding the application to the faculty members and the deadlines is reflected on the official homepage of the university.

The criterion of getting into Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE) at Mumbai is the MHT-CET or JEE Main for undergraduate degree courses such as B.Tech. The MHT-CET qualifying marks also reduce every year, which stands between 85%-95% percentile for courses like Computer Engineering or Electronics. Similar to M.Tech, admissions for many other postgraduate programs are awarded based on the GATE score. For the year 2023 the percentile score for the computer engineering was approximately 90 % for the MHT-CET. The college has been having a less number of seats and the better rank holders will get admission in to the best branches of the college. Both eligibility status and rank qualifications have to be met to ensure successful admission.
