LPU offers a wide range of paramedical courses such as BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy), BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology), BOTT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy), Nursing, Radiology, OT Technician, and other related programs. For some courses, you may also need to meet a minimum percentage requirement, typically ranging from 50% to 60% in your qualifying exams (depending on the specific course).Age Limit: Some courses may have an age limit (usually between 17-35 years) for admission.Additional Requirements: Specific paramedical courses may have additional requirements such as a minimum score in entrance exams (like LPUNEST for certain programs).2. Admission ProcessThe process generally involves the following steps:a) Application:Online/Offline Application: You need to fill out the LPU application form either online on the official LPU website or by visiting the university campus. You will need to provide personal details, academic qualifications, and other necessary information in the application form.b) Entrance Exam (LPUNEST):For many paramedical courses, LPU conducts its own entrance exam called LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test). The exam typically tests your knowledge in Science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and may also include an aptitude section.Based on your performance in LPUNEST, you may qualify for admission to the course of your choice.c) Merit-based Admission:Some courses may also offer merit-based admission based on your 12th-grade marks if you do not appear for LPUNEST.You will be shortlisted based on your academic qualifications, and a personal interview or counseling session may be conducted afterward.d) Counseling and Seat Allocation:After the entrance exam or merit-based selection, you will be called for counseling, where you will be allocated a seat based on your rank, preferences, and availability of seats in the specific paramedical program.During counseling, you will need to submit your academic documents, ID proof, and other necessary paperwork for verification.3. Dear AdityaA standalone course in makeup artistry could take a month or two. Usually, they are part of a cosmetology school's curriculum. Becoming a licensed cosmetologist can take about eight months if you attend school full-time. Thank You!
