The admission to Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai, Bharati Vidyapeeth for BDS is fairly tough. Candidates must succeed in 10+2 with PCB and English and a minimum of 50% in PCB (40% for reserved categories for SC/ ST/OBC etc.). The admission is done based on the student performance in NEET UG examination. In order to pursue the course, they have to take admission through MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) only. Over all it is ranged from 300 to 400 marks but may differ every year depend on the no. of seats available and no. of applicant.Since it is easier to gain admission to, it can be considered less competitive than even Government dental colleges but achievable with a good NEET score rating.

The last five NEET UG cutoff for admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme at Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai was used to decide the cutoff. For 2024 admissions, the expected cutoff scores are:General category: 580-600 marks.OBC category: 550-570 marks.SC category: 480-500 marks.ST category: 450-470 marks.Since these cutoffs vary from year to year, they depend on factors such as the number of candidates and the number of seats available for each course, the level of difficulty of NEET. The college has limited BDS seats and therefore students scramble for these rare opportunities. It therefore goes without saying that scoring more than the set score enhances the likelihood of likely getting a seat.
