Both University of Hyderabad and Guru Nanak University are good and have an average placement records. The Department of Communication at the University of Hyderabad is well-regarded for mass media communication studies. On the other hand, Guru Nanak University, particularly the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Ibrahimpatnam, is also a respected institution with good infrastructure and faculty strength. GNU had a placement rate of around 20% in 2022, while University of Hyderabad had an almost 55% placement rate.
