MBA in Pharma-Biotechnology

For admission in the MBA programme, students with a domicile in Maharashtra will have to appear in the MH-CET exam, which the Government of Maharashtra conducts. And candidates outside of Maharashtra will have to appear in any of these entrance exams, which is CMAT/ CAT/ MH-CET.

There is no management quota for admission in the MBA course offered at PUMBA, Pune. PUMBA, Pune admissions are strictly entrance exam based. The Department of Management Science, Savitribai Phule Pune University offers MBA through five specialisations spread over six trimesters with a duration of twenty-two months:

The Department of Management Science, Pune Univeristy (PUMBA) accepts admission in its MBA programme mainly through MH-CET, which the Government of Maharashtra conducts under the supervision of DTE. Apart from MBA MH-CET, PUMBA also accepts the CAT/ CMAT/ ATMA score for admission in the MBA programme.

The total tuition fee for the MBA programme at PUMBA ranges between INR 1.3 Lacs - INR 1.5 lakh. This fee range does not include the hostel fee or the mess fee and only includes the cost of tuition for the two-year MBA programme. The fee range mentioned here is taken from official sources and sanctioning bodies and hence, is indicative. 

PUMBA provides a total of 240 seats for its MBA and MBA in Pharma-Biotechnology courses, with 180 seats allocated to the MBA programme and 60 seats designated for the specialised MBA in Pharma-Biotechnology.

The fees for Executive MBA at PUMBA vary and depend on factors such as residency status and programme duration. Generally, the fees for the entire programme range from approximately INR 3.5 Lacs to INR 5 lakhs. Yes, PUMBA accepts CAT scores/ranks for admission in its MBA course. Candidates whose CAT score/ rank is above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by the Department of Management Science, Savitribai Phule Pune University, can register further for the counselling process (Click here to check which college you can get based on your CAT score) and after surpassing the counselling process, students will have to get their required documents verified through the admission cell of the college and after that they will have to make fee payment which will lead to final seat confirmation in MBA programme at PUMBA.
