IIT'S are more concern about research and technical stuff required a math background with less focus on holistic studies. While in IIM Lucknow they would think more about rigorous training with more focus on interpersonal skill, management training and will give variety of knowledge. 1] A Bachelors degree or a Masters degree with at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelors degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of four years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

The eligibility criteria of MBA from IIT-D (DMS) is given below. Eligibility criteria : A Bachelors Degree or equivalent with minimum 60% of aggregate marks or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale. The Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. A relaxation of 5% in marks (I. e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (I. e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST candidates. Those having applied to IIT Delhi MBA programmes on qualifying the CAT will be shortlisted and then invited for a WAT and interview.
