I am satisfied with good teaching methods.
Placements: About 27% of students were enrolled in this course. The highest salary offered for a junior engineer is Rs. 80,000 per month. The average salary offered is approximately Rs. 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is approximately Rs. 20,000 per month. Top recruiters are ONGC, OIL, APDCL, and many other private companies. I got an internship at Assam Power Distribution Limited. Internships are mostly available for all students. The top role offered in our course is junior engineer. Students get promoted to senior engineers by doing BTech.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. The connection is also good. Sometimes, the network gets down. It is still in the development phase. It has good infrastructure. It has two buildings with advanced rooms. Classrooms need to be improved. They can be improved in the future. Workshops are excellent because they have many machines to learn through practical examples.
Faculty: Teachers are great and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members and low placement rate.
Placements: Only 2% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting company is UltraTech Cement. Almost 100% of students got internships from our course. The top roles offered are technician, junior engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very old due to which we don't have all the facilities in our course. All machines and instruments became useless with time. We do have labs, smart classrooms and a library. We have only one hostel, which is for girls, and the boys' hostel was closed for decades. The canteen was reopened in 2022.
Faculty: Some teachers are kind, and some are rude. Their teaching quality is average. The course is curriculum relevant. It doesn't make students 100% ready for industry. Semester exams are not that hard for everyone unless you don't study. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a civil engineer. The best thing about our course is it helps us to survive in the real world.

Diploma in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2025

Good college and infrastructure is well maintained. Students can apply for this college.
Placements: In our civil engineering branch, there are 61 students present.
In our college placements, on average, the highest package went up to 80,000 per month and the lowest was 25,000. Companies like NF RAILWAYS, NAPCO, and INDIA come in our college for placements. Internship opportunities are great at our college. Every student who is in 3rd, 4th, 5th semester can apply for industrial training in companies like PwD, water management resource, NF Railways, etc.
After completing the diploma, students can apply for jobs as junior engineers.
Infrastructure: Overall, college infrastructure is good. Classrooms are of average size. Labs are well maintained, but workshops are not really well maintained as many machines are rarely usable. Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. There is also one smart classroom and library where there is good collection of books. Hostel facility are average because college only provide girls hostel facilities, as boys hostel are out of service and its condition is bad; no Wi-Fi service is available in hostels. Food quality is average in hostels; a canteen is also available in our college and items are available at reasonable price. No medical facilities are available for first-aid treatment. Sports week are held every year in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable; their teaching quality is great and teacher-to-student ratio is great. Yes, the course is relevant because, as a civil engineer, we can survey and estimate the total cost of any construction work, which we are taught in college and it will help in site visits when we get jobs. Exams are at a moderate level; students have to score minimum 30 percent to pass, which includes home assignments, practicals, vivas, theory, home works, etc. And the total mark is calculated; if the student scores above 30 percent, he or she is considered to have passed.
Other: Our batch is pretty awesome. I chose civil engineering because I am interested in this field, which includes construction work. In this course, we learn about the construction of buildings, how to design buildings, make calculations about their strength and the budget required for complete construction work. I wish assignments and homework were less, because they are very time-consuming. It would have been better. In our college, events such as freshmen farewells and various competitions are held every year. The campus crowd is average and everyone is friendly. No ragging is done in our college except for the introduction of freshmen. Scholarship opportunities are also available in our college extracurricular activities, such as sportsweek, and general selections are held every once a year.

Dibrugarh Polytechnic. Good campus.
Placements: Students below 60% in Maths and Physics got selected. Few companies came to the campus for recurring students. Companies are like Havells, ONGC, OIL, BCPL, and NF Railway. There are Few Internship Options during the 3Rd semester And 5th semester in the biggest companies like ONGC, and NFL Railway.
Infrastructure: A very vibrant place for schooling. The library and workshop are quite good, also the classes are timely. The hostel is situated middle of a tea garden. There are many canteens available in front of our college.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are good. The teaching quality is good.
Other: Good college, worthy to join.

The college have only 1 trade electrician and it's a good course for future.
Placements: The minimum percentage of our college students is 75 to a maximum of more than 80 per cent. After completing the electrician course you have to choose where you want to do an apprenticeship for 1 year. With 4 to 8 thousand per month payout.
You should come
.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. There is a workshop where every student learn while doing practical things. There was a computer room too. No hostel yet but a playground near and the college is located in a rural area so you can concentrate too.
Faculty: The teachers are so good there so free. This is a 2-year 4-semester course.
And semester exams are totally up to students' hard work.

The overall facility is nice I guess but the placement is little poor .
Placements: Its not that good because our batch didn't got any placement which is difficult for us in future whereas other colleges are getting placement at different places. I request the college authorities please make sure to allow placement for us for the future students.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is nice but water availability is time to time which is a lot disadvantage for us. And overall it is good the mesh food is also good warden is strict but care a lot for us help in every situation of us. The rooms are huge halls are also there dining is there.
Faculty: This part is rhe best I have ever got in a college the teachers were so helpful and caring to us
The exam are average one student can give it easily
It is a 70 marks paper and 30 marks is from sessional which is a advantage for us to achieve good marks in exam.
Other: The course Polytechnic is best.
