Dinabandhu Andrews review.

Placements: The college is affiliated under Calcutta University. Being a government undertaken institution the fees are really low and in blunt words don't expect any placement from the campus itself. But being a senior pass out I can bluntly say that Calcutta University is recognised all over the country and whenever you sit for an job or academic interview in future you might get a slight hinge of advantage over others.

Infrastructure: I cannot say it has the best infrastructure in the city but certainly a sustainable one. It does not have any hostel facilities available but the location of the institute is so convenient that you may avail PG or mess facilities easily. The labs and classrooms are very well-equipped. The lav facilities are certainly one of the best in the city at least in the department of microbiology. We also have common rooms for indoor games like TT, carrom and so on. Each year inter department cricket and football tournaments are organised. You get very good quality student friendly cheap food at the college canteen all over the day.

Faculty: Faculty members are the most important resources of this institution. It is certainly one of the best. And the courses are affiliated under Calcutta University and anybody knows the quality of knowledge you acquire if you are studying under CU. Digital means like projector and computer slides are used by the faculty members for better understanding of the subject. If you are interested the teachers are always welcome to help you take decisions and preparations for your career.

Other: The best about this institution is the location. It is very well connected by transport from any part of the city. You get good food in and out of the campus. The campus also has good parking facilities. Each year 2 big events are organised- the fest and the freshers. Both are worth remembering. You can apply for any government recognised scholarships while studying.

It is a fine honors college. A must for the south 24 paraganas students.

Placements: Placements are given according to the Calcutta University rankings and also through exam results such as NET and JAM. Our previous batch had two students who got the placement in quality control department of well-known pharmaceuticals. Here, 10% got an internship. The course curriculum is also moderately useful.

Infrastructure: It has a moderate infrastructure, and still, works needs to be done on the laboratory expansion. More experienced and caring faculty needs to be brought. There is no wi-fi connection on campus. Quality of lab in microbiology department is also not very good. The canteen food is worth the money. There is no hostel room provision, and I still didn't face any infrastructure issues during the college tenure. Also, the games room is not that good.

Fabulous faculty with great placements and infrastructure in minimal feels.

Placements: Above 80% students are established now in different areas. Our batch size was 50. Leading companies which are trending in the market are recruiting them.

Infrastructure: A very big campus indeed, with fresh air and garden. Hostel is not available but transportation is easily accessible from the main gate. Library has a very calm and peaceful vibe to study there. Classrooms are big enough to fit at least 50 students. The college follows an anti ragging scheme with helps the new ones to remain safe. The principal will directly communicate if you are having some serious problems.

Faculty: The teachers of this particular course are incredible. They know the student's needs. They are always ready to help. Discussions are done on various trend topics to keep us up to date. By following their classes one can easily get 9.0 CGPA at the end of the year.

Other: A very prestigious college it is. Got many awards from the chief minister herself. I chose this course because of its demands in the near future. Scholarships are available.
