Candidates should have trained in-service Teachers in any Government recognized school within Tamil Nadu state who have completed NCTE recognized Teacher Education Programme through face-to- face mode / Trained in-service teachers (such as D.T.Ed., D.P.Ed.,B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed.) in any Government recognized school within Tamil Nadu state. Candidates must be presently working as a teacher in a Government recognized school in Tamil Nadu.

Yes, an engineering graduate is eligible to apply for B Ed course.
But, for that you have to qualify the TET entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for B.Ed course is, class 12th with 60% or above, Qualify TET exam. There is no need of engineering graduation to apply for B.Ed.
