The course structure is good since it is designed to give exposure to the corporate world.

Placements: The placements are good, with an average INR 6 lac package for master's students and an INR 3 to 4 lac package for graduate students. Since this is our batch, I will update the placements after getting one. But we are hoping for at least an average of INR 8 lacs per year. Also, the placements are in the fields of marketing and sales for management students and for those of us pursuing a Masters in Economics. We are looking for research and data analyst roles since our course is designed in such a way that it teaches a lot of software such as SQL, R, and Python.

Infrastructure: The hostel was very good. There are more than 80 double sharing rooms and 4 triple sharing rooms in the boys hostel and mess with a capacity of more than 150 students at once. There is a separate mess for the girls and boys hostel and security is also very good. There is a gym and a common hall with a television in both the hostels. The food quality is also satisfactory.

Faculty: I chose to pursue a Masters in economics since I pursued it at graduation and I have a keen interest in the subjects. If you are someone with strong analytical skills and a quantitative approach along with an interest in economics, then you should go for a master's. You will also be eligible to apply for many economics-oriented government jobs such as those at the Indian Economics Service (IES) and the RBI after pursuing a master's in economics. The course here at DTU is designed in a very organized way. In the first year, we are taught core subjects such as micro, macro, and econometrics. In the 2nd year, there are theoretical subjects such as Indian economic development and many more, and you are supposed to do a dissertation. The faculty is pretty good since this is our first batch, so we have professors who are pursuing Ph.D. from DSEG and you, as well as many prestigious universities in the field of economics.

Excellent teaching staff .

Placements: There is no student to get package. No company has yet to come hire the person but actually people want to get a good placement and there is no response from economical department. Students who come here and think that they will get a good education but they don't.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good as compared to other universities like Panjab University. Hostel services is very good every student be very happy with all services provided by the University. There is lack of sports facilities and students are not interested to play any game.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. They always be with the latest update which is very beneficial for every students. Teaching quality is very good. They don't waste their time with a unimportant things. They create different ideas .
