Review of Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu.
Placements: The college provides sufficient placements. Various reputed companies like HCL, Hyundai, SBI, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, etc., visited the campus for placements. Roles like executives, managers, HR, accountants were offered. Most of them got selected for their jobs. Our university also has a placement cell which acts as a mediator between the students and the organisations. In addition to this, we have career counselling cell which guides the students about what opportunities can be grabbed and how to gear up for them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is well established and maintained. It also provides internet and Wi-Fi facility to almost all the academic departments. It furnishes seamless roaming facility every time. The internet facility on the university main campus is provided by NKN.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very supportive, encouraging and try to solve all matters concerning academic environment and activity on the campus. Moreover, the university has almost thirty-three teaching departments. Besides graduate and postgraduate courses, it also offers short-term job oriented and professional courses.
Other: To encourage fitness and firm health, the university organises yoga camps at different hill stations surrounded by the lush green environment with a good climate. It also provides residential facilities to students, teaching faculty and non- teaching faculty as well.

    Short review about Jammu university.
Placements: There is no placement provided by this university. After course they only provide certificate. But no placement done by this university. Hence you should prepare to get a job outside. Only this os the limitation of this university. They should provide placement opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is almost good. Classrooms are well designed and its overall infrastructure is well maintained. So there is no problem for the students. Toilets are also well maintained. With every classroom and in every block. Hence it have a good infrastructure.
Faculty: It is also good. All types of courses are done here for example. B.A. B.Sc. B.Com/ M.A. M.Sc. m.com/bed,llb etc. Here the education system is very good. Teachers are good enough to provide education. Hence I recommend to other students to take admission in this university.
Other: Education system is good and in distance edu Books are provided without cost.

    Great Improvement is a must.
Placements: Placements: Jammu University offers a wide range of placements. Every year about 3 to 5 Multinational companies offer different kinds of Jobs to the students. These companies offer jobs to the deserving students and almost all toppers get selected. However, there is also a scope of development in the university for the students. In terms of %, about 60% of toppers get selects for various jobs in those companies. Salaries were offered according to the position they were given. In case if a position of Computer Operator is offered, the salary which is offered ranges from Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 and which is the lowest position for which they would come and if a higher position of Business Analyst is offered, the salary of Rs.40,000 per month is offered and Average salary which is offered is Rs.20,000 for certain Jobs. Companies which visited during my tenure are ICICI, Tech Mahindra, Hyundai, other banks, etc. As in case of roles, Receptionist, Assistant Manager, Sales Executive, Marketing Manager, Business Analyst, Computer Operator, etc. Were offered. Internship: University also provides Internship after every semester to PG students as well as professional students. The stipend ranges from Rs.2,000 to Rs. 4,000 (maximum) which provides great opportunities to the students. A group of students are given opportunity to get selected for Internship.
Infrastructure: There are various types of facilities available in the university which are supposed to be there. Classrooms are neat and clean. A huge Investment is made in its building. The surrounding is so clean and neat which enables students to surf university while studying. The food served there is of Good Quality and is served at a very nominal value. Students gather there so that they could have something to eat. Hostel Facility is also provided to the students coming from long distances and even those students living near can opt for the option. There are not many issues I faced but there is a lot of need for some improvement in its facility. They should be updated as per today's generation.
Faculty: Teachers in our University are available for various courses. They are helpful to the extent they think the should be. They would help students in the class, however, after class, they seem not so interested in solving your doubts. The quality of teaching is also not up to the mark. The university should opt for teachers who would provide in-depth knowledge with a clear understanding of each and every concept.
Other: The University is full of various courses and hence a number of students opting for the same.

I am satisfied with the faculty and all other facilities which were in the campus.
Placements: There were no placements in Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu for our course, M.Com, as it was a correspondence course. There were no internships provided in distance education. But if you do regular M.Com from University of Jammu, you will get placements and internship industry exposure.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games are available on the campus. Our campus was not Wi-Fi enabled but our classrooms, library, etc. are good. The quality of classrooms and labs is good. The food available in the canteen is of a good quality. The hostel rooms are good. I didn't face any infrastructure issues during my tenure at the university.
Faculty: The faculty of Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu was well qualified, experienced, helpful and knowledgeable. We had 15-day classes where they used to give us lectures. We didn't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum was useful.

Review of Directorate of Distance Education.
Placements: Good placements were provided in Directorate of Distance Education. The average salary offered was between Rs 30,000-40,000 per month. Different job profiles were offered to the aspirants according to their skills and capabilities. The highest stipend offered by a company was Rs. 9,300.
Infrastructure: The college is located in the main new campus of the university. It has a college development council, department of student welfare, computer learning centre, post office, Jammu & Kashmir bank, health centre, gymnasium, cafeteria and many more facilities. It is also near to the famous General Zorawar Singh auditorium.
Faculty: The faculty, administrative and support service staff of Directorate of Distance Education are well-trained and committed to provide cutting edge services to the satisfaction of distance learners. It has support centres at government degree colleges in Rajouri, Kathua, Poonch, Bhaderwah, Doda and Kishtwar.

I am not very much satisfied with this university.
Placements: As it is a government college, so it does not provide placements. You have to get your job by yourself. Senior students got selected for KAS. Every year about 40% of the students get government jobs. Every field gets a different salary. About 20% of the student from our course get an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Wi-Fi facility is not available in the college. Laboratories have every possible ingredient that a student needs. Medical facilities are also available 24 hours. Sports and games play a major role in this university. Every type of sports and games are available with proper equipment.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful, but sometimes they show their attitude towards the students. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are PhD holders. Generally, they taught on the boards as the smart classrooms are not available. I didn't get any industry exposure here.
