The admission process for B.Tech programs at Dronacharya College of Engineering can be influenced by the availability of seats in a given year. If there are an adequate number of seats available in a particular program, admission may primarily depend on successfully clearing the 12th standard examinations or an equivalent qualification. In such cases, meeting the minimum eligibility criteria and obtaining a qualifying score in the entrance examination, if applicable, would typically secure admission. However, in scenarios where the number of applications exceeds the available seats, the college may set a minimum criteria to shortlist candidates. For example, they might require applicants to have a certain percentage, such as 80%, in their 12th class or equivalent exams. In such competitive situations, meeting the minimum criteria becomes crucial for securing admission. In the case of B.Tech admissions at Dronacharya College of Engineering, the availability of seats and admission criteria may differ depending on the chosen branch of engineering. For Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), which is often a popular choice among students, the competition for limited seats can be higher. In such cases, meeting specific eligibility criteria, including a minimum percentage requirement in 12th class or equivalent exams, becomes crucial to secure admission. However, for core engineering branches such as Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics and Communication Engineering, where the number of applicants are comparatively lower, getting admission can be relatively easier.
