Qualifying in the entrance exam accepted by the Institute for MBA like Karnataka PGCET/KMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT etc. So if you meet the above eligibility requirements and have a good score in the entrance exam, you'll have a good chance of qualifying the cutoff and you'll get admission without any problem. DSI - Dayananda Sagar Institutions is considered as a good Institute of it's area and India. It was established is the year 1960 and offer various courses in the field of dental science, arts, commerce, pharmacy etc. Rakings and ratings of this Institute are also decent. DSI is accredited by various bodies like NBA, NAAC, AICTE and UGC, this ensures the authenticity and reliability of the courses offered. Infrastructure and faculty members of DSI are also decent providing all basic facilities like hostel, transportation and well-equipped classrooms and labs. So on an overall basis, this Institute can be said as an decent Institute with good amount of courses offered in reasonable fees.

Candidates can apply without Karnataka PGCET scores through: Minimum MAT – 500, CAT – 50 percentile, GMAT – 500, CMAT – 150, XAT – 50 percentile, ATMA – 60 percentile. DSI also administers the DSI admission test known as DSAT. Eligibility: Minimum of 50% marks in the graduation (45% for SC/ ST). Academic background as well as work experience, and other activities are valued. Application fee: INR 1,000. Prospective candidates are subjected to group discussion and a later personal interview.

The college is recognised by AICTE and is also associated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). DSI is venturesome and self-funded and is under Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust. The campus is 29 acres in size, and it has more than 25 institutions, providing 200-plus programs. Student intake: campus: 20,000+ students, faculty: 1,500+. Currently, DSI is funded at 85% from private sources, 10% from government grants and balances from alumni and industry partners. It is a NAAC-accredited institution with an A+ grade (CGPA of 3.39 out of 4.00). Rated amongst the first 100 institutions in India as per NIRF, consistently pushing the placement record past 80%.
