Eligibility: 45% in 10+2 (PCMB for medical), 45% aggregate for engineering stream candidates with PCM. Direct admission criteria: According to the student's performance in their 10+2 exams, JEE, KCET, COMEDK. Application fee: INR 1,000. Candidates seeking admission to UG/PG courses in Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) need to fulfil a few criteria. UG courses: 45% added in 10+2 (for engineering PCM and biosciences PCB streams). PG courses: 50% aggregate in graduation (the relevant stream). Entrance exams: KCET (Karnataka CET), COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, GMAT. There is a deviation concerning the eligibility of candidates under NRI, management, and lateral entry quota. Documents required: JEE-Main score card, 10+2 marks card, graduation marks card, transfer certificate, conduct certificate and any other certificate for entrance examination. Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) is an independent college which is run by Sri Dayananda Sagar and was inaugurated in the year 1960. The college is recognised by AICTE and is also associated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). DSI is venturesome and self-funded and is under Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust. The campus is 29 acres in size, and it has more than 25 institutions, providing 200-plus programs. Student intake: campus: 20,000+ students, faculty: 1,500+. Currently, DSI is funded at 85% from private sources, 10% from government grants and balances from alumni and industry partners. It is a NAAC-accredited institution with an A+ grade (CGPA of 3.39 out of 4.00). Rated amongst the first 100 institutions in India as per NIRF, consistently pushing the placement record past 80%.

The highest pay scale at Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI) differs according to the course and the batch. Again for the batch of students who passed out in the year 2023, the highest percentage of the students received an offer of around 50 Lacs per annum package. The median offer for MBA/PGDM students was INR 7-8 Lacs per annum and for engineering students INR 6-7 Lacs per annum. The main recruiters comprise IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc., and the salary starts from 4 Lacs and goes up to 12 Lacs per annum. DSI claims a very good placement record in which more than 90% of students get placed every year.

The following is the eligibility requirements to take admission in MBA/PGDM at DSI - Dayananda Sagar Institutions:-Minimum 50% in graduation from a recognised university. Qualifying in the entrance exam accepted by the Institute for MBA like Karnataka PGCET/KMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT etc. So if you meet the above eligibility requirements and have a good score in the entrance exam, you'll have a good chance of qualifying the cutoff and you'll get admission without any problem. Exam schedule: Odd semester examination: November/ December Even semester examination: April/ May. Result declaration timeline: The odd semester is January – February while the even semester is June – July. The results or findings are posted on the official site of DSI and in a student information system. A student gets to work with results using a registration number and password. The opportunities for revaluation and re-examination can be exercised within 10-15 days from the day of the result.

This course offers the most number of specialisation like finance, HR, marketing etc. The course curriculum of this course is very relevant to the industry. The practical skills and capabilities of the students are enhanced in this course. The placement packages offered to students of this course were the highest with 40 LPA as the highest package. Although all the courses offered at this Institute are good and best in their respective fields, you are advised to opt the course in which you are interested.
