I have never been on my own before and it was really difficult for me to stay in a hostel initially but the kind of environment builds up your confidence and you tend to become independent in making your own choices and on the other hand, I started to realize that I have an inherent ability to bring together a family I. e. all my hostel mates. My hostel is an extended family for me. We have been provided with a life coach and a mentor who are None other than our faculty members. Being a residential campus faculty are approachable 24x7. We have a student-led mess committee. One of my friends is in the mess committee and they help the mess to decide on the menu as per students need and wants.
