I was satisfied with the college.
Placements: The placements at the college were very good. In my batch, we had some big companies that come for placements. The top roles offered were business presentation specialists from McKinsey. The college had a dedicated placement cell for this purpose. Every student has to register themselves with it inorder to sit for placements.
Infrastructure: The college and the hostel were neatly maintained. The classrooms were spacious and well-lit. Computer labs and science labs were available in the college. The hostel was also very well maintained. There are many trees on campus making it natural and very well ventilated.
Faculty: BBA was a very well-crafted course in our college. The academic part was very insightful. The courses were a great help to people who want to pursue higher education. The courses of BBA offered in this college were very different and industry-relevant compared to other colleges offering similar course.
Other: Events were the highlights of Ethiraj College. Being an Ethirajian is a very proud moment for all of us. There were numerous opportunities to shine if you have got talent.

Review of Ethiraj College for Women (Ethiraj).
Placements: Many companies based on telecommunications offered jobs to many students in our college. The salary packages ranged from 20,000-40,000 per month. Even we had an option of studying abroad for one or two years (optional to students). Hindustan, ITC, Mahindra, and L&T are the companies that approached us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average, but there wasn't proper administration for managing classrooms. The quality of food wasn't good. Medical facilities were okay. They gave much better attention to sports and games on campus. Our campus library is one of the largest libraries.
Faculty: Semester exams were conducted in a proper way, and they are a bit hard. The pass percentage of students is good. Some teachers weren't much qualified, but some were good at teaching. The course makes students industry-ready. The knowledge we gained was immense.
Other: I chose this course because it helps me give a close about business and how to administrate it. I might say that apart from books, they should also conduct a lot of workshops. They provided good scholarships for students. The campus is average.

The college is like home even to the people who are not from Chennai.
Placements: Students who got placed scored above 80% marks. The college conducts certified personality development course before starting the placements, which helps every student to be prepared for the interview. Top recruiting companies include EY, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides computer labs connected with high-speed Wi-Fi for every department. There is a separate one-storey building for the library, which also has a conference hall making it perfect for conducting meetings in silence. The college has a built-in air-conditioned auditorium which can easily accommodate up to 850 students.
Faculty: I liked the fee part as that they didn't charge much as compared to other colleges. With such high tech facilities, infrastructure and faculty members, the fee was reasonable. Course structure and examination pattern are built in such a way that students don't feel a burden.

Three years at the college was awesome.
Placements: The placements offered in our college are good regarding the companies which walk-in for the interviews. From Goldman Sachs to RR Donley we have them all. We also have the companies recruiting for the internships paying about Rs. 15,000 a month which go on to offer a permanent job in case your good at what you do. The package ranges between 2-3.5 lacs per annum for UG and 2-5 lacs per annum for PG. We have a placement cell which consists of the students as well as the faculty members of the college who keep you well-informed about the placements happening in prior so that you could prepare for your interviews. They are approachable and help you with any queries related to the interview you're looking for. The job profile offered could be as good as an analyst or a finance executive depending on the company your interviewing for. About 30% of the students get recruited every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is as amazing as one could ever imagine. The campus is huge with all the facilities such as hostel, and the canteen is provided inside the campus. The food of the canteen is yummy and affordable. They have two buildings one is the newly constructed annex building, and the other is the main building. They have 3 closed auditoriums with air-conditioner and one open-air theatre. The hostel rooms are clean and tidy. The only drawback is the dirty washrooms which stink and not kept clean most of the times and also the sanitary napkin vending machines have been installed but do not work. They have water tanks installed which is always filled with the consumable filtered water. Regarding sports, we have a basketball court in the annex building, and we have cricket, football, carrom, and chess equipment in the sports room.
Faculty: The teachers are completely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are well-versed with the subjects they handle and are always happy to solve any queries that students have. The syllabus is such that it covers all the important aspects of the course. If there are 180 students including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year, there would be six teachers in total to handle the subjects in each department. The ratio of the student to faculty would be 60:1.
Other: The best part about the college is, it not only focuses on the studies but also focuses in the extracurricular activities. We have our cultural Srishti every year where we organise a huge fest and invite the various colleges. The college also has department culturals every year. The students organise these events and they are for the students. We also have a fresher and seniors meet called Aarambh and Maithri every year which is a 3-day event with a lot of fun activities to do, and it also brings out the talent in each one of us. Our college also has a dance team (folk & western), a music band (folk & western), carrom team, basketball team, adzap team, chess team, etc. We also have a sports day just like how we had one at school. All of this keeps you refreshed.
