Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.

Dynamic learning environment.
Placements: In our college, 90% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered ranges from 2 to 5 lakhs, while the lowest is between 1 to 3 lakhs. Companies like Tata and Honda, among others, have selected our students. Managerial roles will be offered within our group.
Infrastructure: Our college staff is very strict, but their coaching is excellent and explained in a very easy-to-understand manner. Labs are kept clean, although sometimes systems may not function properly and Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent. Sporting activities such as Kabaddi are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are highly helpful in explaining concepts and guiding projects. The quality of their teaching is very good, although some teachers resort to simply writing on the board and reading aloud. The semester's content isn't overly challenging, but the mathematics paper is particularly difficult to pass, with a pass percentage of 75.
Other: Studying additional languages like Python, C+, and HTML is necessary as this group holds significant value for the future. An Annual Day celebration is held every year, contributing to a dynamic learning environment.

This is the worst college ever.
Placements: Many of the students are not placed. Because they don't have a good placement trainer. Many companies are visiting the college and they are conducting an on-campus interviews but only 5 to 10 students have placed. The companies and college management arranged to interview very the worst companies. They selected the students and say we call you but they are not asking to join them and never send a call letter. College conducted the placement classes but don't teach well. If you work out the aptitude problems and they say to improve your communication skills but they don't help us.
Infrastructure: Many of the computer laboratories are does not have a good computer and network connection, The college Wi-Fi is connecting easily to your device but not working properly, and specifically, the department of ECE classroom fans are not working. They don't clean classrooms properly. If your complaint the management about the problem but they don't take any action. I studied during the last semester of college. Our classroom has 8 fans but only 3 fans are working other 5 still not working. We complain many times but they say. Wait management will take some solution but now complete my degree still the fans are not working properly.
Faculty: There are no well-qualified teachers on campus, very few doctorate staff on campus, they are not teaching very well 90 percent of the students get arrears every semester. Because they not teaching very well. In the department, laboratories have the worst equipment like multimeter, CRO, and digital meters. Now the college was autonomous. Only 35 % is the pass percentage. Anna University has 45% to pass the theory examination.
Other: I am an Electronics and communication engineer. If I completed my degree I would choose the Hardware side and the IT industry. If you study well you easily increase your knowledge and don't believe your college management helping you. They conducted some complimentary events like symposium, inauguration day, and annual day. This college doesn't participate in many sports and events. If you are a sports person don't choose this college.

A short review of Excel Engineering College.
Placements: Students r going to placed only 50 to 60%. Package of each and every student is low like 2 to 3 lacs. Sometimes only few students get higher package like 5 to 6 lacs. If they got offer letter from 2 to 3 company. Some of the company r coming and just asking u r willing or not on a very low package.
Infrastructure: In our college infrastructure is good in labs, classroom, library and so on. In the hostel mess food looks only good. Water problem and sometimes electric problem. In my course they didn't teach anything to get ready for the industry
They r just teaching like a child.
Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable but some of the teachers don't know to talk in English . In this course they r teaching us old model of machines using old model of machines how can we compete with other knowledge students. Our semester exam is too hard to pass we get 70 to 80 % to get pass .
