Faculty of Computer Applications MRIIRS offers a two-year MCA programme at PG level in the field of Computers and IT. Inclined more towards application development with more emphasis on the latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications, this course covers various aspects of Computational Theory, Programming, Algorithm Design and Optimisation, Network and Database Management, Mobile Technologies, Electronics and Mathematics, among others.

At doctoral-level, Faculty of Computer Applications MRIIRS offers PhD programme in Computer Applications. MRIIRS conducts an entrance exam (with 70% weightage in selection) for admission to PhD followed by an interview/ presentation round (with 30% weightage in selection) for final selection. The syllabus for the entrance test consists of 50% research methodology based questions in part-A and 50% subject-specific questions in part-B. Candidates with a valid score in GATE/ UGC NET/ CSIR JRF are exempted from writing the PhD entrance exam and can directly sit for the interview.
