Yes, candidates who are applying for BA programme of MIT Faculty of Liberal Arts do not require entrance exam. They are selected based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. The faculty also considers the statement of purpose of the candidates for admission. The selection for MA is based on MIT WPU CET and/ or PI round.

MIT-WPU offers financial assistance and scholarships worth INR 50 Crores to the deserving and meritorious students. Candidates can check out the details categories of Merit Scholarships:Dr. Vishwanath Karad Scholarship: This scholarship provides a 100% fee waiver for the entire duration of the programme to 5% of the total students’ intake. MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship-I: This scholarship provides a 50% fee waiver for the entire duration of the programme and is applicable for 10% of the total students’ intake. MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship-II: This scholarship provides a 25% fee waiver for the entire duration of the programme and is applicable for 12% of the total students’ intake. 

Yes, MIT Faculty of Liberal Arts admissions are open. Candidates need to apply online on the official website of MIT WPU.  Admission for Faculty of Liberal Arts courses is both merit and entrance-based. Applicants are selected based on their merit in the last qualifying exam for BA courses. For admission programme MA programme, WPU CET and/ or PI scores will be considered.

Applicants are selected UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE, CEED score for PhD admission. Candidates who have not qualified any of the entrance exam need to appear for MIT WPU PhD Entrance Test. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round. Besides, aspirants also need to complete one-year master’s degree programme after a four-year bachelor’s degree programme or a two-year master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme with at least 55% aggregate to get admission in PhD. 

Candidates are first required to apply for their preferred programme. The selection for Faculty of Liberal Arts is merit-based for BA programme. For MA programme, WPU CET and/ or PI round is considered for admission. Aspirants who have a valid UGC NET, CSIR NET, GATE, CEED are exempted from MIT WPU PhD Entrance Test. Selected candidates need to confirm their admission by paying a course fee.

Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1,500 to register for a course. Aspirants can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes. Aspirants must keep the fee payment slip with them for any reference at the time of admission.
