Hello,
The scenario changes every year. But mostly the majority of the placements are domestic.

Hello,
Yes it is true that hostels are given on merit basis and the seats are limited. The rest of them stay in PG or take flats outside college. There are plenty of them available. More over from this year we have started a tieup with coho.in

Is it true that the top B-schools aren't giving call to year drop out even if their scores are good?

Hello Dhaivat,
It is not at all true. I know people in FMS as well as in other premier Bschools who have an year gap. The calls are not at all given based on this criteria. Don't worry.

Hello,
Yes you are right. Majority of students are engineers in most of the b-schools. But there is no specific reason for that. However, the people with commerce background have an advantage in some b-schools where they are given extra marks

Hello, The eligibility criteria is as follows:Candidates applying for admission to the Two Year Full-Time MBA must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline after 12 years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks (SC/ST: Passing marks; OBC/PWD/CW: 45%) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree may also apply. And yes it might be the case that open university would get less preference ONLY IF you are not able to provide any strong reason for not attending a regular college.
