Hello Suresh, your ranking at about 7000 is reasonably good as far as the entrance examinations go where around a Lacs of students appear. However it may not be good enough to get the branch of CSE. This is so sense almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and as a consequence the cutoffs for this branch are really stiff. Hello Aksath Singh, your ranking in Andhra Pradesh entrance exam is indeed quite good. I am sure with this ranking you will get admission in the college and the branch of your desire. However the rules regarding free seats keep changing. Hence you need to keep track with the website of directorate of technical education of the state of Andhra Pradesh for any new announcement for this. But many private colleges do offer concessions in fees ranging from 100 % to 10% depending on the ranking of the student. Best wishes to you.

The 70% of B.Tech admissions in Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering are based on entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.
While the 5% seats are for NRIs and remaining 25% seats from JEE Main or EAMCET ranks holders. Thereafter, if any seats still remain unfilled such seats may be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the prescribed group subjects taken together/aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
So the EAMCET is the best way for admission here. Without an entrance score your chances for admission here are very less.
