(40% of marksin qualifying examination is required for Cat-1, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)). Result awaited candidates can also apply. Experience shared , my college my life.
Placements: There are no placements on core field.
Few of technical Support interviews would be provided. Some good placement opportunities could be provided, instead list of pool campus drive would be provided to the candidates which is bit difficult to crack. Including technical supporters, percentage of placement doesn't reach 1%. Remains below 1% all the time.
Infrastructure: Not bad in terms of locality but getting better. Labs are okay with new instruments but lack of experience lab attenders. Wi-fi is provided in the hostel premises but speed is horrible. There are no proper medical facilities. Old hostels are getting painted every year instead of renovated. Water problem could be there in hostel.
What looks good is canteen and it's food provided.
Faculty: Few of the faculty members are interactive outside the classroom but having very less amount of knowledge regarding any subjects. Senior faculties are quite helpful. But, the floor is full of new and inexperienced lecturers. No extra support from the college administration regarding job opportunities. Limited amount of knowledge would be provided in the classroom, no knowledge would be provided outside the syllabus. But, no extra pressure from their side regarding attendance.

Other: Ghousia College Of Engineering is situated in Ramanagaram,Karnataka which is 45 Km away from Bangalore in Bangalore-Mysore Highway. The college is surrounded with mountains from all the side. The faculty members here are very good and various facilities are provided to the students who are staying in hostels.There is a separate girls hostel which is safe. Environment in the college is very good. Teachers are very co-operative.
