Placements: George College has a rich history of over a century. I am currently enrolled in the BCA department, where last year witnessed a remarkable on-campus placement rate of over 60%. Our college has established strong ties with numerous companies that actively recruit candidates from our institution. Notably, students from my department have secured placements in renowned companies such as TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and more.

Placements: About 65% of students get placed in our college. The salary package offered is 3.5 LPA - 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS and CTS. About 60% of students got internships in TCS.

Placements: 40 percent of students are annually placed in big companies like TCS, Wipro and so on. All students from the BCA department are able to do internships after giving the 4th sem exam. Software developer, Software Engineer, Software Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Web developer, and many more roles are offered.

Placements: There were 69 students in our batch. The average salary package offered in our course is 2 LPA. In this course, you have the opportunity to get a job in top multinational companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Axis Bank, and more.

After every year the IT companies come to the college for tech fest so that the students can get an idea about how companies deal with the software related problems.

Placements: In my college, there is very good campusing. The senior batch who are still in the fifth semester got a job in good MNCs like TCS, CTS, Capgemini, Tech Mahendra etc. There are some students who get more than two job offers. The college helps to prepare for the interviews and they give many chances for attempting the interview till you get a good job.

The college has great reputation in pan India for commerce section. It is very strict in attendance and disciplinary matter. The college regularly features in top 3 commerce colleges of India. It is divided into evening section that is co-ed and a morning section is only for boys. This is an autonomous college under Kolkata University and it follows semester pattern of examination.
