Happy with the placements and infrastructure.
Placements: The best thing about our college is that they will give 100% placements and companies like Deloitte, Bajaj, ITC come for recruitment. The highest package is 7 lakhs PA and the minimum is 2 lakhs PA. Data analyst and sales executive are the roles offered.
Most of the people got an internship and it's a must.
The highest stipend is Rs. 20,000 and the minimum is Rs. 3000.
Infrastructure: Our block has internet facility with the bandwidth of 1 Gbps.
The library has all kinds of books available. There is an indoor stadium for volleyball and basketball.
The food available is very delicious and we have 5 canteens in total.
The hostel rooms are well maintained.
There are no issues with the infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly.
They try to reach us by giving real-time examples.
All the faculty members are PhD holders and are well experienced.
For each teacher, there are 10 students who need to report each week. We had visited three factories including a plywood factory and Hinduja Power Plant.
Other: Our college has a unique program, which is outbound training.
In this, we need to go out of the city for three days without mobiles and there will be trainers who will give us many tasks.
By this, we will get to know how to manage things while in a group or single. There is a digital library for all the students where we can spend time to gain knowledge.

Management career in GITAM University.
Placements: GITAM Institute of Management is a platform to explore yourself and get placed in a good company. 100% students of my senior batch have been placed in a good number of companies. Regarding the package, the minimum package is Rs. 3.5 lakhs, and the maximum till now is Rs. 7.7 lakhs. The roles offered are sales executive, assistant manager, financial advisor. Where internship is concerned, a few companies came and recruited people through interview process. The remaining students were allotted companies by the college.
Infrastructure: Coming to infra, the university has a 100-acre campus containing computer labs, branch wise library and central library where we find all kind of books and journals, etc.
The classrooms are equipped with projectors, ACs, free Wi-Fi, etc. The campus contains 3 major canteens where food is very cheap and good in quality, and one mess. The hostels are well maintained and very strict rules are followed by the incharges.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and have a good practical knowledge. They help in every aspect whether it is academics or projects. Mostly, the faculty members use PPTs for lectures and case studies which are purchased from IIMs. There are lots of events held where we can learn management skills as well as politics. There are projects like social projects, business environmental projects, research methodology projects, etc. The course curriculum they use is as per changes in the industry. Most of the course is industry specific.
Other: The entire college life is awesome. This is the place where I personally enjoyed a lot, learnt a lot, and finally gave some change to my life. I am happy to be a part of this university.
The only concern is the fee, which I feel to some extent is high. This university is A graded by NAAC in 2017. This is an opportunity or a platform for a student to learn and excel in their career.

I am totally satisfied with infrastructure, faculty, placements, exposure and cultural activities.
Placements: For me and my senior batch, the placements were good.
More than 60% of the students got placed.
The highest package that I have seen was 6.5 lacs whereas the lowest was 2.5 lacs.
Internships can also be taken on our own.
And many MNCs too come for taking in.
Many of the stipends were fixed amounts like Rs. 5000-10000 and the rest were varied, based on our performance. A few got more than Rs. 20000. Sometimes we were offered internships without any screening because of the references from our seniors in those companies.
Infrastructure: You will be having all the facilities that you expect from a B-school: Wi-Fi, labs, library, and in sports, management students will be given more importance in the university. The university premises has almost 5 canteens and more than 12 refreshment points. We are facilitated with Subway, Tibbs Frankie and also has a saloon and a beauty clinic too.
For management students, the hostels were separate and also having a separate team of faculty members who will take care of hostel and mess by doing frequent checking.
The university is having a hospital, dental hospital, 3 banks 4 ATMs, two grounds.
We never got infrastructure related issues except the air conditioning problem in the classrooms for a month in our 4th trimester.
Faculty: My experience with the faculty was very good because many of the faculty members had a lot of industrial experience and contacts which will be useful for us to a lot of extent.
And you can be in contact with the faculty of your interest based upon their background.
And to become an entrepreneur, many of them will be helpful to you.
The curriculum is designed in a way that we can get live experiences to a lot of extent.
All this about faculty is with reference to the marketing and operations departments as I am from that specialization.

Other: Campus infrastructure is good and environment is good but it's not value for money at all. We pay more fee but can't get that much quality. There are no strict rules there students will be addicted to drugs. If you think you can avoid them you can join this college.

Other: The basic of any course depends on how much you positively exploit the resources of the college. GIM has all the resources that a student would need. At the end, it all depends on how a student dynamically adjusts and involves himself in the activities. Be it different initiatives, few of the very experienced faculty, different student driven activities and needless to say, the many seminars, workshops and hands on experience that a student gets from all these is phenomenal. I could positively exploit my college, I was a partaker in many activities, got many articles published and at the end, did well with my academics too - so, it was a balance. I would definitely recommend this college to anyone. Welcome aboard - towards a better self.

Other: The college stands out at infrastructure. There is a very big library with lots of information. Hostel facilities are great. Gave me great exposure and lots of opportunities to learn and excel. Boosted my confidence. Faculty are very supportive. The training and placement cell ensures to train you by conducting mock GD and PIs. The college has 100% placement record. I placed at Aditya Birla Group. I am happy and proud to be associated with this College.
