The placements and salaries in GKM College of Engineering and Technology (GKMCET) vary heavily based on the course or specialisation. As per 2023 placement statistics, the median salary for fresh graduates was about INR 3.10 Lacs per annum, mostly for B.E. Computer Science Engineering students. However, the highest salary they were offered was about INR 75,000 monthly, and the lowest was approximately INR 25,000 monthly.Reputation about placements at the college is mixed; though some reviews comment that around 80% to 95% of students get placed, some other reviews comment that placements could be a bit less for some branches. Top recruiters of GKMCET graduates include Infosys and Wipro. However, students have complained that in recent times, not all placements are of excellence, and most roles offered by them do not correspond very closely to what has been studied through engineering courses. In totality, however, GKMCET can boast of a diversity of opportunities upon graduation. Experience has varied from the course to an individual effort, making internships and job placement experiences for employment.

Join GKM College of Engineering and Technology, or GKMCET, for a B.E. or B.Tech. course following the procedure given below: Candidates need to qualify for the selection process to get into the GKMCET. For that purpose, the following are eligibility criteria: They need to pass their 10+2 exam and must get a minimum aggregate percentage of 45% in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission takes place as per the TNEA process, discussed above. The TNEA usually provides the application window between May and June every year. A candidate may apply by registering online and submitting the application form; they will have to provide all relevant details and documents during the registration process.
