Worth the money, despite all facilities.

Placements: Placements are not that great; totally average companies came to college for interviews. Teachers are good, and other types of services are quite convenient. The college also has a canteen for providing food facilities for everyone, where teachers and students all eat together.

The college is good but they know only money.

Placements: 85% students have been placed in different companies. Average companies visit the college, not big ones. Mostly unknown companies are available during campusing. Approximately 45% students got 3 months internship from Flipkart. Top role is from packaging department.

I am not satisfied because placements provided are not good.

Placements: Around 20% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Airtel, Capgemini, etc. Almost 10% of the students got internships from our course in Oracle, and Airtel. Role offered was a junior employee.

GIMT is an average college and is value for money.

Placements: Almost 45% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our college is 6.3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is probably 1.1 LPA. However, in future, it may change. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, TCS, ITC Infotech, etc. A few students got internships from our course. The top role offered in our course is a senior software developer.

Our college provided good placements in 2018.

Placements: During our course duration, good placements were provided. Even the placements are increasing in B.Tech. In 2014-2018 batch, around 80-85% of the students' got placed from the electrical department. The average salary package offered was around 2 LPA. They were providing summer training and winter training in various companies rather than internships. Shift engineer, software trainee and junior engineer were the roles that were offered in our course.

Placements: 50% got internship. Mostly civil and mechanical department students. CSE student didn't get any internship. Pwd, national highway, hscl are some complies who gave internship opportunities. CSE students did internship from Globsyn and CmC mostly during our batch.

The best place for placement.

Placements: Global Institute of management and technology is an idle institute for engineering students in placement. This year, I have seen the latest companies, Honda and Toyota in our college campus. Almost 85% students are placed successfully. The lowest scale of salary is 9.5K and average is 15K in starting. The merited students, about 20% students get stipend during internship.

You can get admission in this college for good education.

Placements: I was a student of civil engineering of this institute, and I passed out in 2017. The management doesn't arrange any placements for our batch and the senior batch of us also. I heard that some of my seniors got placements in the college, which was fake campusing.

It is waste of money, and the college is useless.

Placements: There are no placements conducted in the college. What they tell you at the time of admission is never fulfilled. They tell you that the companies come for placements, but the placement cell does not have contacts. On the board, they have written Google, IBM, Ericsson visit for placements, but all those companies are only on the board.

Although GIMT is not that bad collage. One can take risk of getting admission here, but at your own.

Placements: Previously in GIMT, the placements were nearly zero, or one can say there were no placements in GIMT. After this year, mean to say after 2017, few companies came for interview. Not everyone get the chance but few of the students get placed. The salary offered was not that much, the maximum amount was Rs 18000 and the minimum amount offered was Rs 13500. Companies like Infinity, JK Protomax and many more visited in year (2018). .

If you want to achieve something, don't join this college. Most low category college in west Bengal.

Placements: They will tell you about 100% placements, but you will surely get 100% fake placements. The number of students is very less, so good companies are not visiting for placements. 10% of the total students got a job which pays below Rs. 10,000 per month. Those companies required ITI candidates for the position.

Global Institute of Management and Technology.

Placements: The college has no placements. No single student got placement in any good company. WBUT recognises the college, or we can say the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. I think this is not a good college, but it's okay. Facilities are good, and our TPO cell is the worst. So, overall, it is okay.

The college is very well-infrastructured. The college has charges a less amount of fees.

Placements: The placement is good in the college. Approximately 60%-70% placements are done, but the jobs are medium and poor types. In 2017 Amazon.in, Flipkart etc., companies visited our college and selected many students from our college. Global Institute of Management & Technology is a good college with cheap fees.

Totally dissatisfied because of fake placement, but only good infrastructure

Placements: This college provides mostly fake placement. I to got placed in MNC company, but that was fake. Few student got placed. This college only wants to increase their admissions by providing fake placement record. So, be aware of this college. Many companies visit campus, but you can't say which one is real and which one is fake. In my batch, only few student from IT and CS department got placed in Hyderabad with about 15000 pay. So, it is better to avoid this college. This college only shows it's in...
