Hi Spandan,
Somaiya would be better due to its brand name and location. The average package offered is around Rs 9L, and is one of the top B-schools in/around Mumbai. The new IIMs are not great in terms of placements and ROI; it will take some

Somaiya would be better due to its brand name and location. The average package offered is around Rs 9L, and is one of the top B-schools in/around Mumbai. The new IIMs are not great in terms of placements and ROI; it will take some years for them to be established. Still if brand name matters to you than placements/ROI, then you can go for them(specially Amritsar & Nagpur). Good luck!

Considering last year's cut-off at GIM (92 Percentile), you stand a good chance at getting a call.

We can't say anything for certain till the actual cut offs come out but seeing the last year trend you might get a call.

We can't say anything for certain till the cutoffs are declared. But seeing the past trends you seem to have a good chance. The cutoffs are likely to be declared after February 21.

Seeing the last year cut-offs, your chances look slim but wait for the cut-offs to come out for this year.

Having around 95+ percentile would keep you on the safe side.
