Dear Friend, Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration is a Premiere Commerce College of India that has been ranked as 11th best by India Today 2017 Rankings and the best in Kolkata. It is a Kolkata-based degree-granting college that offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in Commerce and an MBA degree course. It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Earlier it was a part of Presidency College where it started as a department but later with growing demand it had to be shifted into its new premises as a separate institute under University of Calcutta. The admission procedure for its flagship B.Com (Hons. ) is rigorous with the percentile cut offs basis Class 12 Examination marks pegged at around 96 percent. "Very focused course structure. Strictly with the guidance of Calcutta University. Currently, it is running with semester system and strictly need 60 % attendance to sit for an exam. No medical leave is accepted for maintenance of 60% attendance. Still, the teaching is this college is through blackboard.

Eligibility criteria- Passed 10+2 examination with five subjects of 100 marks and English as a subject and any one of the following: Accounting, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organization, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office Practice and Secretarial, Financial Accounting, Elements of Cost Accounting and Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accounting and Principle of Management with minimum 75% marks in aggregate.
Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration invites candidates for B.Com (Hons.) in Finance and Accounts who have passed 10+2 examination with relevant subject with 75% marks in aggregate. However, for OBC candidates, the minimum score must be 67.5% marks while the SC/ ST candidates are required to have 56% marks in aggregate.

Based upon the previous year's cutoffs and current year's result, I'm sure that you will definitely get admission in B.Com (Hons.) in GCCBA. Initially, you might have to wait for the second list but you will get it in end.
