The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Government College of Engineering Amravati (GCOEA) are: - Passed in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as prescribed subjects - Obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology/Bio-technology/Vocational subjects. - Any candidate who has got qualified in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main - Residence either in the Maharashtra or outside the Maharashtra (in some cases) - Pass the age requirement (there are no upper limits to age but one need to be at least sixteen years old). Experienced faculty 3. Good infrastructure 4. Research opportunities 5. Decent placement records GCOEA provides following under graduate and post graduate programs in engineering and technology. The University is approved by NAAC and NBA, and is also affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. GCOEA is not as high ranked as first level engineering colleges of India but it is a reputed college for the students who want to have quality education in engineering in Maharashtra including the students from this region.
