Persons interested in getting admission to the Government College of Engineering, Karad, should fulfil certain conditions The minimum qualification required for admission is a 12th standard pass with the desired percentage in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. The candidates also have to meet the cut-off criteria of MHT CET or JEE Main. Later, they need to apply for CAP-MHT-CET or CAP-CSAB in case they belong to any other state. From the performance as seen from the examinations, they will be arranged for a seat and will have to go through document check and admission fees as well.

Meet Eligibility: At least 50% marks, (45% in case of reserved category candidates) in 12th standard in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology and valid MHT-CET or JEE Main score. 2. Apply Online: Appearing either in the MHT-CET or JEE Main, one then has to apply through CAP for MHT-CET or CSAB for students from other states. 3. Counseling: Depending on the exam score student will be given a seat through CAP or CSAB. Legal document verification and concerning fees will be the final steps in this process.

MHT CET scores cut off marks for Government College of Engineering, Karad, have been anticipated to be around 80-90 for general category students for courses like Computer Science Engineering for the 2024 session; however, branches like Civil and Mechanical would be differing and being tagged at higher cutoffs on a different scale. So, will be seen to be lagging behind in terms of the desired cutoff marks for Electrical, IT, etc.For example, for Civil Engineering, the cutoff might range between 77-78 for general category students whereas for IT might be closing to 90 based on previous year's trends. The cutoff exactly differs every year depending upon factors like how many applicants come, seat availability, and how difficult the exam was.

The internship and training opportunities at the Government College of Engineering, Karad are agreeably good as several prominent organizations visit the college for hiring. The renowned IT recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Persistent, and Capgemini. In general, graduates are offered an average salary package of Rs 4 LPA, however, some students have been placed with the highest salary package of Rs 25 LPA. Interested candidates who want to pursue their Courses at the Government College of Engineering, Karad must follow the following admission procedures Minimum eligibility criteria include the candidate must have passed 12th standard with the required percentage of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics and Biology. They have to write MHT-CET or JEE Main after that They must appear for MHT-CET or JEE Main. After that, they can apply through CAP for Maharastra residents or through CSAB for candidates from another state. The next procedure is counselling, seat allotment and document verification along with fee payment for confirmation of admission.
