The Government college of Technology offers various courses at UG and PG level for the engineering students. The various courses offered by the college are B.Tech in Civil engineering, artificial intelligence, mechencial, electrical etc. The college iffers decent placements in the various courses varying from INR 6LPA to INR 13 LPA. The package varies from courses to courses. In the course of CSE, the highest placement package offered was INR 17 LPA for the last year placement batch. The average package varies from INR 7 to 8 LPA. Major companies such as KPMG, EY, Cognizant, Accenture etc. participated in the placement process.

The companies participating in the placements are Caratlane, Capegemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Amazon, Kohler, Kale, Fastlab, Ashok leyland etc.The average package varies from INR 8 to 9 LPA. The highest package is approximately INR 23 lacs per annum.

No, the students can afford pursuing the course of B.Tech at the GCT college. For a student to complete the course of 4 years, the approximate budget should be around INR 1 lacs since the fees varies from INR 20,000 to 22,000. For mess, it takes around INR 2 to 3 thousand per month. The hostel fees is around INR 6,000 per year. With 4 years hostel, one can complete his education in less than INR 2 lacs. Scholarships and Loans are also provided for the students who are unable to affor the fees hence it becomes easier for the students to pursue the course.

TNAE scorecards are to be uploaded while registering for college. According to the score, the ranks are announced. Additionally, 50 percent of marks are needed at the school level for 10+2 level in PCM stream. Furthermore, for PG admission in M.Tech Courses, Exam TANCET scorecards are accepted.

The colllege is affordable, provides exposure to its students, provides decent placements and job opportunities along with internship opportunities. The college ranking is also decent as follows :- GCT B.Tech ranking by NIRF is 160 out of 300 colleges in India in 2022 and it was 128 out of 300 colleges in India in 2021.It stands at 160th rank out of 300 in IndiaIt stands at 30th rank in Tamil NaduThe college is affordable and the fess is INR 2 lakhs to pursue the course.
