For students from Kerala in particular, Government Engineering College, Idukki (GECI) is a respectable choice for pursuing a B.E. or B.Tech. It provides courses in a range of engineering specialities, including electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, and electronics and communication. Because of its affiliation with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), GECI can guarantee that its curriculum meets the demands of the contemporary industry. Although the college's campus infrastructure is not as extensive as that of larger establishments, it nonetheless offers necessary amenities like labs and dormitories. While still not exceptional, placement possibilities have improved, particularly for key branches. GECI may be a good option for students looking for an affordable education with room for skill and knowledge advancement, even though it might not have all of the benefits of elite universities.
