It is usually not possible to get straight admission to the BLS LLB programme at Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai. For the BLS LLB course, the college uses a Centralised Admission Process (CAP), and admission is mostly determined by merit. Candidates must either take the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or, depending on the category, be qualified based on their Class 12 grades. While students in the reserved group could have distinct qualifying requirements, general category students are chosen by GLC Mumbai based on merit. To be eligible for the BLS LLB program, you must fulfil certain requirements, such as achieving a minimum qualifying exam score (often 45% or higher in Class 12 for general category).
