The Government Law College offers two courses in law:
(i) Three year and
(ii) Five years law degree courses. Each of these courses is independent of the other and is in accordance with the rules laid down by the University of Mumbai and the Bar Council of India. Each course has its own admission criteria.
1. The 3 Year Law Course: Admission is open to candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree with 45% of marks from any faculty of the University of Mumbai or an equivalent degree from any other University. It is a six semester, full time course. On completion of the three year course, i.e., after the 6th semester, the LL.B. degree is awarded. Students who desire to study the law, but do not wish to practice as advocates are eligible for the LL.B. (General) Degree, at the end of the 2nd year i.e. after the 4th semester.
2. The 5 Year Law Course, leading to BLS LLB is an integrated ten semester law course. Admission is open to any candidate who has cleared their 12th standard examination with minimum 45% of marks from any recognized Board across India. The first and the second year of the five year course, i.e. 1st to 4th semester, is a 'Pre- Law' course. The students of the five year degree program are awarded the B.L.S. (Bachelor of Legal Science) degree at the end of the third year, (i.e. 6th semester) and on completion of five years, (10th semester) the LLB degree is conferred.
Admission requirements:
1. Marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test (CET) Examination.
2. Original statement of marks with a certified copy.
3. Original Caste Certificate by students intending to avail benefits.
So from above you are eligible for 5 years BLS-LLB program because you have not completed your graduation. Further admission are granted through the CAP (Centralized admission process), hence there is no provision of interview.
